Brett is the MR director for the Polymath film.
​
An innovative filmmaker and futurist, Brett has pioneered and advocated VX (Virtual eXperience) as the future of entertainment since his 1992 sci-fi hit The Lawnmower Man, and cyber-action thriller Virtuosity.
Brett directed T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous in IMAX 3D, which was the first 3D film to gross over $100m at IMAX theaters.
Brett won an MTV Award for the first HD all computer graphic music video/ride film Kiss That Frog. Kiss That Frog toured the world as a wildly popular theme park attraction.

Brett was named as one of the Producers Guild of America's "Digital 25", a list that also included James Cameron and Ridley Scott. This accolade recognized the 25 leading visionaries, innovators, and producers who have made significant contributions to the advancement of storytelling through digital media.

Brett was a key mentor for the EU’s Creative Europe VR Workshop, and is a sought-after speaker for the rapidly growing VR/AR industry, around the globe as a leading expert on defining interactive storytelling, and on providing an ethical framework for these powerful new mediums.
