Research Manager, MASTERTUDE

Ted is the Research Manager for Mastertude and is responsible for the research that supports achieving Mastertude's vision. Ted's vast experience, influence, and expertise drive value across the business in relation to its objective of injecting technological innovation into content, services, and products.
Ted is also a leading Futurist for ViaComCBS/Paramount Pictures, working with studio leadership and the technology teams to explore forms of new and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Ted was previously the Futurist at 20th Century Fox. He was part of the creative team for the Martian VR and Wild VR experiences, which premiered at CES and Sundance. He was also part of the founding team at RED Digital Cinema; many of the world’s biggest movies have been shot with these ultra-high-resolution digital movie cameras. Ted is also one of the founders and creators of G-Tech.
Variety Magazine's Innovator of the Year 2019, Ted is frequently quoted in the media and regularly called on to speak as a thought leader at international tech, media, and entertainment events. He’s been featured in numerous media titles including Wired, Variety, NY Times, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, NBC, and CNET, discussing his areas of passion and exploration.
Ted has an instinct for aligning with the right project at the right time. He loves music and feels called to make a difference towards a better world, making Polymath an ideal project for him.
